Seat weavers are called artisans and their workshops are termed 'studios'. I suppose this is because our work is somewhere between craft and art. Each day I am invited challenged to produce a work of artistic merit and invited to be better at it than the day before. This is my approach to weaving and life in general. It is the approach I bequeath to my students and associates.
