I am a chair seat weaver living in Central Texas. I have caned all sorts of chairs on and off for about 30 years. Since retiring from homeschooling I repair chair seats full time. Like many other weavers, I also enjoy making baskets and have mades thousands of pounds of homemade soap over the last 20 years.
