Where to Stay

This year we return to the beautiful Appalachian Foothills of South Eastern Ohio to explore the skills that inspired our guilds formation. Your membership renewal is required to attend “from Founders to Future” July 21-23 and gathering registration can be completed at

Numerous options for accommodations are available. The least expensive option is available through Hocking College itself. Their recently built dorm rooms sleep 2 and share a bathroom with one other room. Share a room with your partner or pick a roommate. Rooms have small refrigerators and bedding is provided. All for $35 per person per night. The form needed to reserve a dorm room is below

We have a number of rooms set aside for attendees at Days inn of Athens. To book a room call (740) 662-2001 to receive the discounted rate of $114 (plus tax) you must call and mention you are attending the SeatWeavers Guild Gathering. Note that once a reservation is made it is non-cancelable and this is an early bird special Reservations must be made by June 23rd.

Owners of mobile home trailers can also park on the grounds.

Arrangements need to be made through Sean Terrell: This is not an option for tent and other camping types.

For those who plan to extend their stay and visit the Hocking Hills state parks these hotels are convenient for both locations but do not have a discounted rate for the gathering:

Budget Inn (740) 385-5674
Holiday Inn Express, (740) 385-7700
Baymont Inn & Suites (740) 385-1700

If you would like to camp and even extend your stay to enjoy this beautiful region the options are too numerous to include here. The Hocking Hills Nelsonville borders on is Ohio’s wonderland. Visit and call 1800-HOCKING (1-800-462-5464)
