Hello Fellow Seatweavers from The 2026 Seatweavers’ Guild Gathering Team!

Believe it or not our Gathering Team has been busy planning an amazing gathering for you next summer!

Yes, it’s early to be thinking about next

summer, but we want to share some exciting new things coming next July for you to think about as you plan your summer travels.

Our Gathering will be held at The La Salle Manor Retreat Center in Plano, Illinois 40 miles west of Chicago. Our group will be the only group there for the weekend and because we are all under one roof, there will be more

opportunities to share information, get to know each other better and learn more about our craft.

Please check out their website, they have a labyrinth,

a walking path in the woods, kayaking, fire pit and lots of room for learning new weaving techniques.

The cost for the weekend is $252 per person. This includes, your room for Friday and Saturday nights and 5 meals. For those members not wanting to stay overnight we have secured a commuter fee for folks that have family near by or RV travelers; that cost is $225 per person. However, you will miss a LOT of fun!!

There is a campsite 5 miles from the retreat center. If you

are traveling by RV but want to join us at the Retreat Center, there is space to park your RV there but no hook-up.

New at the 2026 Gathering will be the Seatweavers’ Clinic! Is there something that you just can’t seem to get?

That one thing that keeps causing you frustration? Let us know when you register and we will find someone to help you one-on-one while at The Gathering!

We have heard you loud and clear! Tools,Tips and Tricks will be Saturday afternoon for a longer time! Start thinking about your tools, tips and tricks to share.

The Gathering Team is hoping to have classes confirmed and registration posted on the website by mid-February.

There is much to see in Chicago and

the Midwest! We hope to see you in July!
